Enjoy it while it lasts…

It is possible to live a life without appreciation. If one doesn’t have a story, they probably don’t appreciate moments of their lives as they should or they appreciate them in their own way without sharing them with others…

It was a difficult patient after spinal injury. He was wheelchair-bound. He didn’t want to speak and didn’t tell his story. However, when I arrived to his home, I was stunned by what I saw and I was deeply touched by what he told me. There was a very dusty old car parked on his driveway. It was covered with golden yellow leaves and you could see that no one has driven it for ages…

“ I cannot sell it. It keeps me going.” — he said.
